This week, London’s all about festivals, cheesecake, apps and bicycle rides… From tomorrow until Sunday, Battersea Park will become a gastronomic heartland as the Foodies Festival rides into town. Alongside restaurants, producers, drinks and cookery theatres, will be a world record attempt by The Victoria chef Paul Merrett, who’ll be aiming to make the world’s biggest Ploughmans. Though it may sound a long way off, now’s also the time to plan October’s foodie antics, as London Restaurant Festival tickets have gone on sale this week. Visit their website to book your place at events including their annual debate, a food fair at Fortnum & Mason, and the Gourmet Odyssey bus bound restaurant tours.
